Refund Policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026

Plain-language summary: Child Fairy does not take payments directly on childfairy.com. Apple, Google Play and Amazon process purchases and normally make the refund decision. Start with the store where you paid. If purchased content does not unlock or restore, contact us and we will help investigate.

1. Website purchases

childfairy.com currently does not sell products or collect payment directly. The website links to Apple, Google Play and Amazon, where purchases are completed under that store's checkout, refund policy and consumer protections.

2. Apple App Store purchases

Apple processes purchases made in the iPad app and controls refund eligibility. To ask Apple for a refund, sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com, choose Request a refund, select the reason and then select the Child Fairy purchase. Eligibility and processing time vary by country or region. Apple states that an update is usually available within 24–48 hours after a request.

3. Google Play purchases

For purchases made through Google Play, use Google's refund request and policy page. Google says requests made within 48 hours may qualify depending on the purchase details. After 48 hours, contact us so we can investigate the transaction and, where appropriate, process or support a refund in line with our policy and applicable law.

4. Amazon Appstore purchases

Amazon processes Amazon Appstore and Fire tablet purchases. Amazon's Appstore terms say purchases of apps and in-app products are generally final except where its Digital Products Return Policy or applicable law provides otherwise. For a purchase or refund problem, sign in to Amazon and contact Amazon Customer Service. We can help confirm whether an entitlement was received or restored, but we cannot issue an Amazon refund directly.

5. Paperback purchases

Paperback orders are fulfilled by Amazon. Open Your Orders in the Amazon marketplace where you bought the book and choose the available return or replacement option. Eligibility, return windows, shipping costs and refund timing are determined by Amazon and may vary by marketplace, seller, item condition and reason for return.

6. Kindle eBooks

Kindle refund eligibility is determined by Amazon. Amazon's current US policy says an accidentally purchased Kindle book may generally be returned within seven days if it has not been read, but rules can vary by marketplace and circumstances. Use your Amazon order history or contact Amazon Customer Service for the decision that applies to your order.

7. Purchase not unlocked or restored

A missing unlock is often a restore or store-connection issue rather than a refund issue. First confirm that the device uses the same Apple, Google or Amazon account that made the purchase, then use the app's Restore Purchases option. If access is still missing, email us with the store name, product purchased, approximate purchase date and the non-sensitive order or transaction identifier shown by the store. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details.

8. Reversed or refunded purchases

If a store cancels, reverses or refunds a transaction, access to the associated paid book or bundle may be removed. A bundle refund may remove access to every item included in that bundle. We do not provide duplicate refunds for an amount already refunded by a store, payment provider or bank.

9. Statutory rights

This policy does not limit consumer rights that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you. The relevant store may request information needed to assess a refund or comply with those rights.

10. Contact us

For purchase troubleshooting, email hello@childfairy.com. Please allow a reasonable period for us to investigate store and entitlement records.
